Bold Gold Hampsire Boar

Bold Gold is the type of boar that we had in mind when we purchased part interest in Gold Standard. As his name implies this boar commands your attention. He is bold in his skeleton with huge feet and big wide spaced, even toes. His bone exceeds that of his sire both front and rear. He is strong in his pasterns and clean in his joints. He is bold in his skull and very masculine in his features, yet, has a high quality refined underline. He is bold in his rib and center body with a huge top that ties into his shoulder and hip smoothly. He is bold in his movement taking a long, confident stride off both ends which is not surprising when you analyze his perfect angles out of his shoulder and set to his hock. He is bold in his width which is square from the ground to the center of his ham and the point of his shoulder. No bowing or toeing in. None! He is bold in his lineage. His mother is Package x Acuna gilt that was one of the most impressive Hampshire females that we have seen in quite some time. His littermate sisters are extremely good and a litter mate boar has been retained into the Pennington Herd. We are very excited to stand “Bold Gold” alongside our other powerful young herd sires.
